Sorry Emmanuelle I won't be able to make book group this month- flat out working to deadlines, hope to make next one. i haven't read this author before and I quite liked the beginning of the book, but lost interest in the characters and storyline as the book progressed. Kim

ReplyDeleteAll of us (I think) felt the book was not satisfying and it looks like it was your point of view as well. Some of us enjoyed the reading of the novel to some extent, while others disliked it. It seems to be inspired by "Bonjour tristesse" by Françoise Sagan, so you might want to try this if you want a more achieved novel. I am not going to be there in July, so I will see you in August. Enjoy the beginning of Summer!
