October book
Hi,

There are a few author anniversaries this year, Roald Dahl mostly wrote kids books and short stories, so I thought I would go with Charlotte Brontë as it is 200 years of the anniversary of her birth. I have chosen Jane Eyre.

It's a classic and free on Kindle

I'm sure it's also available at the library and at a reasonable price from the usual shops.

I'm actually due to give birth to my baby on the day of the next group, I have already started reading it, but if I'm unable to attend due to baby commitments Jeremy has kindly said he will chair the group.

VENUE - The Yacht, Greenwich

DATE - Thursday13th October 2016

TIME -  7:30pm

Enjoy,

Stacey

  1. Hello, I've been looking for a book club to join for a little while :) I am glad I have found this one as I live in Greenwich. Is it OK just to turn up or is there anything to be done before hand? Looking forward to this months read! Angie

  3. Hi Angie and Debbie,

Yes of course. All are welcome! Just turn up at The Yacht and introduce yourself. We meet in the back room (coincidentally with the book wallpaper) and are generally pretty easy to spot.

    Cheers,
    Giles

  6. Hi Pete and Angie,

Thanks for letting us know. Sorry we didn't find this out earlier.

Not sure what next month's book is but I'll try to find out. I think it's supposed to be Ed's choice next month.

There will be a new blog post when we know.

    Regards,
    Giles
